1. Why are you making a scary
Christian movie?
Why not? The Christian walk is filled with scary moments,
which makes for a pretty good setup for a movie. We took some
of the common things Christians deal with every day, and
abstracted it into symbolic undertones in the story line.
2. It doesn't look very Christian to
me...want to explain?
Sure - We looked at the different kinds of movies we could
make, and ended up deciding on the "thriller" genre
because it is not very common in the Christian market. We
wanted to create a movie that if a teenager was to show the DVD
and summary on the back of it to a non-Christian friend, they
shouldn't go "I'm not into the whole 'Christian' movie
thing." right off the bat.
We wanted to go a much more subtle route, which shows off
the underlining issues and truth, without throwing it in your
face.
3. Who is your target audience?
Basically anyone who likes a bit of excitement in a movie.
Our primary audience will be teenagers and older primarily due
to visuals that might scare smaller children. Our goal
for these movies is to obtain a G or PG rating by MPAA
standards, and around 12+ by Dove.org standards. We
want this to be a family friendly, clean thriller.
4. Where would be a good setting to
watch this movie?
This movie would be great to watch at 1am at a teen rally at
church... Or something a family with older children could
snuggle in to watch on a cold winter night when they want some
adrenaline flowing.
